Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance. Fitted with side lifting handles for ease of transportation.

Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean.

Supplied with a removable sturdy low height stainless steel perforated shelf, providing a taller volume of water, for standing containers and accessory test tube racks in the bath.

Drain outlet fitted with large 12mm bore for fast emptying. An accessory tap can be added for convenience.

• The shelf in the stainless steel tank provides a stable support for flasks/bottles/racks that can be removed for cleaning. The shelf is a low height design maximizing the working height in the bath, either needing less water when compared with traditional water baths or allowing tall containers or vessels to be immersed to a greater working depth. With lower water levels comes the benefit reduced heat up times and energy saving.

SL1-22: Stainless Steel Gable Lid to fit 22 and 28 Litre Unstirred Baths

Features:

1. The Clifton Gable lid has been designed allowing full use of whole width of a Clifton water bath with the lowest height of the gable being 45mm above the bath. This unique feature means test tube racks or flasks can be placed across the whole width of the bath without fouling the lid maximising the bath working area.

2. Designed with customer in mind ensuring where condensation accumulates in use there are no drip points which could spoil work in open flasks in your Clifton water bath.

3. Water evaporation is reduced at elevated temperatures, maintaining water levels in the Clifton water bath.

4. Where an accessory TC-1 Thermometer is used the temperature can be read from the thermometer with the lid in place.

5. Lid fits into the tank ensuring all condensation runs back into the bath and not down the side onto your bench top.

8. The hinged lid has the added advantage where bench space is limited, the lid hinges back to the vertical position to access the bath where as a conventional lid requires lifting off the bath and placing on your bench top.

9. With continuous sampling work a conventional lid has to be removed frequently to access samples/work this hinged lid is designed with this in mind.

10. The Lid hinges back to just over vertical position as in image above.

11. Using the 'Side lifting handle' minimises the risk of hot steam rising from bath reaching your hand in use.
