'Working' Liquid level, with false base/shelf in bottom water bath. Minimum liquid level - 130mm above the top of the false base/shelf. Maximum liquid level - 150mm above the top of the false base/shelf. For shallow liquid levels, accessory RS4 Raised shelves available. Timer - information. Display resolution 1 minute. Setting variable, 00hrs.01mins – 99hrs.59mins. Time cycle activated @ set point. Timer ends with audible buzzer and "end" message. Accessory - information. Details below for options and recommendations. Temperatures below ambient to -20°C accessory Immersion Cooler DC1-300 or DC2-300 is necessary. Above 60°C or below room temperatures it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with Lid or polypropylene spheres. |
- Circulating Clifton water baths are ideal for external water circulation or immersion of flasks/bottles/racks in a highly stable temperature environment throughout the water bath.
- The stainless steel shelf/platform in the bath used for supporting flasks/bottles/racks is stable and can be easily removed and cleaned.
- Operates in temperature range ambient +5° to 99°C. For temperatures below ambient use an Immersion Dip Cooler DC1-300 or DC2-300.
- Convenient push-fit and lock fittings for secure external water circulation. Tubing is connected by depressing locking ring, pushing tubing into the fitting and releasing the locking ring. No clips or clamps and its locked securely in position preventing leaks in use.
- Easy to read clear bold temperature display to 0.1°C resolution ensuring actual water bath liquid temperature can be easily seen at a distance across any lab and viewable from a variety of angles.
- Wipe clean front control panel, chemical resistant and anti-bacterial finish.
- Quick reliable selection and attainment of desired operating temperature using PID control constantly tuning the Thermocirculator to the water bath.
- Good water movement and temperature control provides temperature stability throughout the water bath.
- Visual indication - under and over temperature alarm.
- Safety cut-out Float fitted - warning low liquid level.
- Quiet running pump operating at optimum speed for constant external water circulation.
- Thermocirculator is manufactured in a sturdy stainless steel case for long working life.
- Built to latest safety standards and supplied with comprehensive operating instructions and Three-year warranty.
- Broad range of accessories available to suit wide range of applications.
- Before leaving the factory each water bath undergoes following: Uniquely identified with its own serial number recorded on our product database, which includes all of its manufacturing inspection data. Electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book. To verify the performance of the temperature control system every unit undergoes a factory 2 point calibration procedure to known traceable values.
- Powder painted body providing a durable finish and protection against corrosion and now featuring “active anti-bacterial technology”. This paint finish actively inhibits bacterial growth improving hygiene requirements as demanded by many clinical and laboratory environments. Hygienic coatings are part of a controlled approach to cleaner facilities. The Clifton range has always featured easy to wipe clean smooth paint finishes that are resistant to routine and efficient disinfection’s, however this improved coating featuring ‘active anti-bacterial’ properties provides an extra layer of defence. This new anti-bacterial paint finish is effective against major strains of bacterium including E-coli and Staphylococcus aureus, resistant strain. Within its formulation an active ingredient is a proven anti-bacterial agent bound into the coating during application and curing to the product. The efficacy of the paint finish applied to the Clifton range is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.
SL4-56: Stainless Steel Gable Lid to fit 56 Litre Stirred and Circulating Baths
Features:
1. The Gable lid has been designed allowing full use of whole width of a Clifton water bath with the lowest height of the gable being 45mm above the bath. This unique feature means test tube racks or flasks can be placed across the whole width of the bath without fouling the lid maximising the bath working area.

DC2-300: Immersion Dip Cooler (ambient to -20°C)
Features:
1. This DC2-300 Immersion Cooler, offers increased cooling capacity.
2. Has an operating range from ambient to -20°C and its additional operating performance is particularly beneficial at these lower liquid temperatures especially in elevated ambient temperatures or larger volume stirred or circulating water baths.
3. Features a flexible 900mm long stainless steel pipe with a protective outer shield, exiting from top of the unit, making the stainless steel cooling coil naturally stand in the corner of any Clifton stirred or circulating water bath. This maximises the working area within the bath and reduces the chance of ‘cold shock’, the opportunity of the freezing cold coil accidentally intruding or touching and spoiling work.
4. The DC2-300 replaces wasteful use of cold water-cooling.
5. High efficiency condensers allowing operation in higher ambient temperatures.
6. Uses HFC refrigerant - R134a.
7. Single low noise level fan.
8. The unit is fitted with casters, which can be locked when sited, for easy mobility.
9. Completes a 100% leak and performance tests before leaving the factory here at Nickel-Electro. The performance test is conducted over 2 days, starting with an initial gas fill and cool down test with a NE4-8D Stirred water bath recording and verifying the time taken to reach 0°C, -15°C and -20°C ensuring it achieves specification. Repeated the next day.
10. Each unit is uniquely identified with its own serial number recorded on our product database, which includes all of its manufacturing inspection data. Electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book.
