Bio – Cult Amies + charcoal is constituted by a sterile swab and a tube containing the Amies Transport Medium (with charcoal), Ref. 610152, recommended for transport and collection of microorganisms deriving from:

• Urogenital exudate;

• Faeces for coproculture;

• Exudates for virology research;

• Food samples;

• Surfaces and work-environments.

The charcoal adding to the formulation of the medium neutralizes fatty acids that are toxic to microorganisms.
